The Energy Efficiency Award 2024

There are four competition categories to choose from. In addition, dena will award a special prize for particularly innovative solutions to a small or medium-sized company from among all the entries.

 

A jury of experts with representatives from business, politics, science and the media will judge the competition entries. The winners will be honoured at the awards ceremony at the dena Congress on November 11 in Berlin.

Award

The Energy Efficiency Award honours completed projects and concepts that have a special impact on the energy transition and climate protection.

The categories

 

 

Rewarding the winners: prize money, label, public relations.

The 5 winners of the Energy Efficiency Award will be honored at the festive dena Congress on November 11, 2024. The winners will receive a certificate from dena, the winner’s label and a trophy. A short award-winning film will be produced about the winners of the four competition categories, which the companies can use in their public relations work. The prize for small and medium-sized enterprises is endowed with 5,000 euros.

Rewarding the nominees: label and publicity

In October 2024, dena will publish the shortlist with the nominated projects. The nominees are entitled to actively use the nomination for their own corporate communication. They can also use the EEA label for this purpose.

Special prize for small and medium-sized enterprises

In addition, dena will award a special prize for particularly innovative solutions to an SME from among all applications. The prize is awarded independently of the above categories.

The Energy Efficiency Award 2024 is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK). The award is under the patronage of Dr. Robert Habeck, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. KfW is the premium partner. The bank supports companies, private individuals and public institutions in implementing innovative business ideas, using renewable energies and increasing energy efficiency. One focus is on start-up and SME financing.
